I would first like to point out that this information was pulled from out old Death Diliverance website and the thread was orginally posted by MSG , thanks for that
First off, these will take up most of a power tray, so you may want to open up a tray that is not in use and put all of these macros here. Also, I will not be doing a Bind version of this. Why? Easy. With a macro, you can see what each one is meant for. With a bind, you have to either remember which key does what, or you have to have a written list next to you. Trust me, macros are the best way to go with this. I will be using the macro labels I use, as the label is still fully (or mostly) seen on the macro button.
The list below is in the form: Full name of ability - Macro label for it - then creating the macro
Aggressive - Agg - /macro Agg "petcom_all aggressive"
Passive - Psv - /macro Psv "petcom_all passive"
Defensive - Def - /macro Def "petcom_all defensive"
Stay - Stay - /macro Stay "petcom_all stay"
Follow - Come - /macro Come "petcom_all follow"
Goto - Go2 - /macro Go2 "petcom_all goto"
Attack - Atk - /macro Atk "petcom_all attack"
Dismiss - PetX - /macro PetX "petcom_all dismiss"
To clarify how the Mastermind's pets will react to these commands, here is how the pets interpret these commands:
Aggressive - the pets will attack any enemy, regardless of level, if the pet and the enemy get within the pet's perception range.
Passive - the pet will not attack anything, even if you or it is getting attacked.
Defensive - the pet will only attack if you or it gets attacked, and usually only the enemy that attacked. If multiple pets (or you) are attacked by multiple enemies, only those enemies will be attacked back.
Stay - tells the pets to stay where the are. There is a limit range to this, and if you go past this range, they will automatically be summoned to your location. The Stay command should still be in effect and they will not move until you go past the limit range, or issue another command to them.
Follow - the pets will follow you. Their aggression status should be what you had last set it as: aggressive, passive, or defensive.
Goto - this will produce a limited range targeting circle. Place the circle where you want your pets to go and left-click once to send them. Aggression status does not change from last setting.
Attack - You must have an enemy targeted first. Once you have an enemy targeted, this command will instruct your pets to attack that target. Keep in mind that they will NOT attack any other enemies until that target enemy is killed.
Dismiss - this will dismiss (unsummon) your pets.
These are the most common types of macros. If you want to insure that your pet is in a particular aggression state, commands can be combined. For example, you want to send your pets into a room to "see" if there are any enemies in there. If there are, you want to make sure your pets start attacking those enemies.
/macro GAK "petcom_all goto aggressive"
GAK = Go And Kill. The above macro would give you a targeting circle to place the location you want your pets to go to - inside the room. You then click to send them and they will be forced into aggressive mode. If there are any enemies in that room, the pets will immediately start attacking. This is a good tactic to keep yourself safe from enemies you may not be able to see. Remember, pets can always be re-summoned if killed.
If you have any questions, feel free to reply. Please keep questions to pet commands. I will create another post in the near future on how to get your pets to say things and to do emotes.
