To trade / gift and item:
(1) Click Members, then click the person to whom you want to send a gift / trade to.
(2) Click the Gift / Trade button on their profile page:
(3) If you have any items that are tradable, they will be "lit". Any items you have that are not tradable will be "dimmed". Click on a tradable item to send it to the lower small box in the center. Each click will add another (for sending quantities).
(4) PLEASE NOTE: You only have about 40-45 seconds to complete the transaction. It's timed and there is no setting to turn it off.
(5) Click the Send Gift / Trade button to complete the transaction.
Watch the Yootil bar (the one on the lower left of your screen):
The little green icon is the Gift box. If you mouse over it, the tooltip should show something like Gift / Trade Requests. If not exactly that, it will have the word "Gift" in the tooltip. Click that box to receive your item(s). That page may also be timed, so be aware. If you do not see the Gift icon, then you probably have not either sent a gift, nor is any gift waiting for you to collect.
Be sure you are checking that - as that is the only notification "sent" that I know of.
