Ever since High School, Cynthia loved Chemistry. She had the brains for it, as she always was top of her class in it. That is probably good, since she could only manage average in some of her other school subjects. After graduating High School, she went on to get her Masters in Chemistry. After she got that, she enlisted with the military.
Given at how adept she was with chemistry, the military placed her in their Chemical and Biological Weapons Research Division. She spent some of her free time working with a Medical Specialist, so she could learn how some of the chemicals would affect the human body. Knowing about the different parts of the human anatomy would greatly help Cynthia learn how to make chemicals that could affect specific parts of the body.
Cynthia has also been fascinated with helicopters. With permission from her superior, she was able to attend helicopter piloting and eventually got her pilot's license. For driving, she had always wanted to ride a motorcycle. She was able to obtain one and was shown how to ride it from someone who already knew how to operate one. She got her motorcycle license.
As the research team had their priorities upgraded, Cynthia had to spend a lot of time in the research facility. This didn't leave her much free time anymore, but she still managed to get to the gym when she could. She practiced boxing. If she wasn't practicing boxing, she went for a jog. She made sure to keep herself fit. There were times when she didn't get a full 8 hours of sleep, but with her military training, and exercise, she was able to keep up with her busy schedule.
In her time in the military, Cynthia had developed new chemical and biological weapons, as well as upgrade some existing ones. Her accomplishments gave her recognition from the higher-ups. A recognition that gave her pride ... and possibly the envy of some of her less accomplished colleagues.
