It has come to my attention that I've posted in someone else's locked thread. Please know that I'm a human too and I do make mistakes.
Given that, as admin, I still see the quick reply box on locked threads. I have now altered the background color of the quick reply box on locked threads - to more readily catch my attention that the thread is locked. The background color is now a dark red, which will also make it difficult to see what might be typed in. This will, hopefully, keep me from making the same mistake again.
Again, this isn't something that you'll see, as the quick reply box gets removed for you on locked threads. I just wanted you to know that I have taken steps to try and prevent this from happening again.
EDIT: Lastly, if you see a thread and/or post that is in violation - even if it's mine - please use the Report Post button on the post in question. Mouse over the image below for a larger view:
You should see the button (you may not see all of the buttons, but you should see the Report Post one) as highlighted in the image above. If you do not see that button, please let me know so I can look into it. That is a button every logged-in member should see. If you don't, please create a thread in the Bug Reports board - as this would be considered a bug.
