I will be most likely moving with in this next month

  I have hit an impasse with the new owners? Managers.  I will most likely be moving out asap due to their indiscretions and Flagrant disregard to security of this complex.  They are removing hard won security cameras and disregarding the safety of my fellow tenants.  If you remember one of our Nabors here in this complex got assaulted in front of her apartment a few years back and was injured in the process.  I explained the circumstance for the cameras and they said we do not care we do not monitor our properties.  I am not comfortable with that so I will be moving and so will some of the others.

Yeah - I don't blame you there. I don't think I'd want to stay where the owners didn't care about the safety of the tenants. It's a shame ... and shame on them.

Sounds like they are trying to do the least possible and get the money they want. And if people move out they will probably just try jacking up the price per unit for new renters.

We do not have security around the building (although our PM put up signs saying so) the actual only camera that I am aware of is the one the installed in the laundry room. So they are watching over what the tenants do. Probably so they have an easier time to kick someone should they do anything untoward (and i get that) . But just putting up stickers....Really with no cameras visible pfft like that is going to work.

If that worked I would just put stickers on all kinds of stuff. lol
