If you fire up Ventrilo and try to connect and it just sits on "Synchronizing...", be sure you've updated to version 4.1.0. Vent should give you a link when you fire it up if you haven't updated yet. That link will take you to the Vent download page where you can get version 4.1.0. Just download and install the update and it should fix it from just sitting on "Synchronizing...".
