Unable to initiate a private chat.

He had to initiate the private chat with me so I could respond and communicate with him.

Check the Settings for your client. Also, check the Server section (the same place you put in your password) to check the settings at the bottom of that page. According to your account info, you are allowed to initiate private chats, so it has to be a setting on your end. Let me know if you need any help finding locations to look for it.

Another thing to note (just figured this out last night): Make sure you left-click on the person's name (that you want to PM) FIRST. Their name should now be highlighted. You should be able to now right-click their name and send a PM. Let me know if that doesn't work.
