So i logged into the game the other day (after being off for about a month) and now when you log in it gives options to log in if you have a low res system or if you have low memory or if you want to log in without battle eye (on unofficial servers only)

My graphics are okay but, memory is low so i am going to test out the low memory version when logging in to see if it makes a difference with the game and lag. 

Playing normal in single player I get lots of lag. I read it could because of the amount of mods I have subscribed to so i had paired that down to only subbing to the ones i use.  Still get lag ugh.  

I'll post any results I get.

I may try am ARK server again, if your results are positive Elderitch. This time, though, mods will be VERY minimal. The only mods I would probably add are Structures+ and TG's Reward Vault. I would then allow a maximum of 2 other mods to be added by request - as long as they aren't "hefty" (aka - large file sizes). I would also see if we wanted to do Crystal Isles again, or try a different map.

Tried it out running as low memory. Still had lag. Will try again maybe i clicked the wrong option.
But also could be its because i am running a lot of mods. Its crazy how powerful a machine you have to have in order to run it nicely.

To be honest I am starting to think it is totally the amount of mods. As I don't remember Bert's server being laggy until mods were added. But I may also try turning down the strength of the effects of the game overall.
