Volgrath is an unusual Drakken in the fact that he fell from Drakkenholm earlier than expected, and had injured his wings. He was not even sure he could return home. He had to turn to more unsavory ways to survive, first by stealing then later taking up the profession of a bounty hunter. His people always were stringent about honor, but Volgrath not so much.
Volgrath was adopted by an old woods man who figured this creature would make a great beast of burden, but later discovered his new found pet was sentient and learned faster than he expected. As Volgrath grew in strength and size, it soon became apparent that what he really found was young Drakken, possibly orphaned or even cast out for some imperfection. His wings have grown, but are a bit frayed. His head sports short, back-swept horns - reminiscent of a black dragon. His scales are a flat black, but his eyes are the most striking of his features They are as green as the verdant fields. He stands 8'5" tall and weighs in at 600 lbs. His muscle tone is that of a predatory animal, ready to strike with swift and agile attacks.
In order to honor the man that raised him, Volgrath wields an axe into battle. He chops his prey, like the trees in his childhood. It was too bad that his surrogate parent was worth 120 gold, dead or alive, or he would still be an honored part of Volgrath's life.
